2024 Ford Mustang With V8 Engine To Have Nearly 500 HP. The Ford company officially presented the legendary Mustang pony car of the seventh generation.

The new generation sports car has retained its classic design but has become much more modern. This was reported by the press service of the American brand. The new Ford Mustang debuted in a coupe and convertible bodies.

The novelty kept the classic silhouette with a long hood and a sloping roof. At the same time, it now coupe and cabriolet look more aggressive. In addition, the model family was supplemented by a new charged version of the Dark Horse with tinted headlights, a body kit, a rear wing, and 19-inch wheels.

But inside, there’s a drastic departure from the retro saloons of its predecessors: only a few hardware keys remain, and most of the controls have been moved to a 13.2-inch multimedia touchscreen – a move Ford says Mustang owners surveyed supported.

Other modern touches include an optional wireless phone charging pad and a full suite of safety systems, including adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and reverse brake assist. The Dark Horse variant also got Recaro sports seats.

Ford Mustang of the seventh generation kept the engines of its predecessor, but they became more powerful. The basic 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbo four will develop more than 320 hp, the return of the 5.0-liter V8 will be more than 460 forces, and in the Dark Horse version – about 500 hp. A choice of 6-speed mechanics or a 10-range automatic transmission is offered.

The new Ford Mustang will go on sale in the summer of 2024. Prices will be announced later.
